Creating UEFI Bootable Enviroment

To create a Bootable UEFI shell, you must follow the below steps


Remote Media

  • Download UEFI.iso
  • Launch the IPMI remote viewer
    • IPMI web-ui -> Remote Control -> Launch HTML5 Viewer
  • Mount the ISO
    • Click "Browse File" and select the uefi.iso
    • Then click "Start Media"
  • Boot system to BIOS
  • Navigate to "Exit -> Launch EFI Shell From USB Drives"


USB

  • Format USB as FAT32
  • Download UEFI.zip
  • Copy contents to root of USB
    • Additionally add any other tools you may need
  • Insert USB into system
  • Boot system to BIOS
  • Navigate to "Exit -> Launch EFI Shell From USB Drives"
