When working with 3100 - RL+/ RZ/X units you will notice that when the unit turns on the IPMI card logs an errors as the IPMI card boots up before talking to the motherboard and its associated sensors. Using a tool called IPMItool you can disable certain sensors to stop these logs being created. **Note: IPMItool is a linux based application **
The ID for the sensor will need to be retrieved, this can be done with - ipmitool sdr elist
Once the sensor ID has been retrieved you will need to add it to the 3rd block of hex values in the following command - ipmitool raw 0x04 0x28 "0x00" 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00
ipmitool raw 0x04 0x28 0x19 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 - DRAM VDDQ Voltage
ipmitool raw 0x04 0x28 0x0B 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 - 5VSB Voltage
ipmitool raw 0x04 0x28 0x1A 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 - CPU iGPU Voltage
ipmitool raw 0x04 0x28 0x1B 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 - CPU Input Voltage
ipmitool raw 0x04 0x28 0x17 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 - CPU Core Voltage
ipmitool raw 0x04 0x28 0x0B 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 - 5VSB Voltage
ipmitool raw 0x04 0x28 0x1A 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 - CPU iGPU Voltage
ipmitool raw 0x04 0x28 0x1B 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 - CPU Input Voltage
ipmitool raw 0x04 0x28 0x17 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 - CPU Core Voltage
Once this is done you can redo the command ipmitool sdr elist and you should see the above sensors set to disabled
