Blackcore offers a "Box Swap" warranty service with all systems. This service comes in 3 tiers, Standard, Gold, and Platinum.
Standard Service
This is our base package, it is included with all Blackcore systems by default and is valid for 2 years
When an RMA is logged, we will build a replacement system that matches the faulty system specification. This does not include SSDs or NICs.
We then perform our usual stress and functionality testing.
Any applicable client specific config is applied.
Once tested the replacement is shipped direct to site. It is the clients responsibility to perform the swap, including moving SSDs and NICs from the faulty system into the replacement system.
The faulty system can then be returned in the packaging provided using a pre-paid returns label.
This service is based on a "best endevours" experience. All shipping costs are covered by the warranty
Gold Service
This is an upgraded service and subject to specific commercial terms.
Client holds a "cold" spare system that matches your exact specification, not including SSDs and NICs. This system is tested using our normal testing procedures and includes any applicable client specific config.
You will hold this system on-site at a location of your choosing.
After an RMA is logged with Blackcore, you will be authorized to swap the cold spare for the faulty appliance.
We will then backfill the onsite spare with a replacement system. Replacement of the spare unit is based on a "best endevours" experience.
The replacement is shipped direct to site. It is the clients responsibility to perform the swap, including moving SSDs and NICs from the faulty system into the replacement system.
The faulty system can then be returned in the packaging provided using a pre-paid returns label.
We will then backfill the onsite spare with a replacement system.
All shipping costs are covered by the warranty
Platinum Service
This is an upgraded service and subject to specific commercial terms.
We will hold a spare system in our warehouse that matches your exact specification, not including SSDs and NICs. This includes any applicable client config. The system is pre-validated and ready for dispatch.
After an RMA is logged, we will do a power-on test and short functionality test, as well as any configuration work needed for easy swap out, such as setting IPMI IP.
Within 48 hours or RMA, the replacement is shipped direct to client site from our facility. It is the clients responsibility to perform the swap, including moving SSDs and NICs from the faulty system into the replacement system.
The faulty system can then be returned in the packaging provided using a pre-paid returns label.
All shipping costs are covered by the warranty
All shipping must be done using Blackcore packaging. Blackcore will not be liable for any devices returned using alternative packaging.
